Fundraising & Events

From bingos to bake sales, quizzes to duck races, our Principal Riders work hard all year round to raise funds and spread the word about the Riding of the Bounds. Every event supports not only their journey but the continuation of one of Berwick’s oldest traditions.

Here’s a look at what’s been happening:

🥂 Cocktails & Canapés at The Castle Hotel

Hosted by Chief Marshal Millie Hope and family
A relaxed evening of drinks, nibbles, and brilliant local support – a huge thank you to everyone who attended.

🐥 The Great Duck Race & Raffle

One of our most popular fundraisers! Dozens turned out to cheer on our little yellow racers along the River Tweed – prizes were won, laughs were had, and funds were raised!

🎄 Christmas Shopping Day & Raffle

A festive fundraiser full of local stalls, handmade gifts, and a prize-packed raffle – thank you to all the shoppers and stallholders who made it such a warm winter success.

🔤 Bingo Night

Eyes down for a fun-filled night hosted by our Right-Hand Man, Laura Hunter. Full houses and full hearts all round!

🍰 Bake Sale at Morrisons

Cakes, cookies and kindness – our Principal team served up sweet treats in-store, with grateful thanks to Morrisons Berwick and every generous shopper who stopped by.

🧠 Quiz Night at The Pilot

Hosted by quizmaster extraordinaire Ian Oliver, with support from Chief Marshal Millie. A brilliant night of brain-teasers, banter, and Berwick pride!

🐎 Spring Ride Out (March)

A chance for riders to come together ahead of the main event – thank you to all who attended this informal get-together, and to the volunteers who made it possible.

🧽 Car Wash Fundraiser

Buckets, sponges, and lots of laughs – our Principals got to work giving Berwick’s cars a sparkling spring clean!

Ongoing Support

From selling lucky squares to organising raffles and doing sponsored challenges, our Principals have shown incredible commitment and creativity. The Berwick Riders Association is proud of everything they’ve done this year.

Sarah Jamieson

I love my job. I get to capture children's first smiles, watch families grow, and I have the privilege of creating lifetime memories with them. I see couples look into each other's eyes and remember, all over again, how much they love each other. I get a kick from the pride and excitement on a business owner's face when they see their photography for the first time - pride in the company they have built and excitement about using my work to further future growth.

So if you would like to enhance your home or website with timeless photography that warms your heart and makes you proud, then welcome!
